Exercise 1 – Get a Block and a Bell

 

  1. 5 Man makers / 5 Big Boys with Bell

 

  1. Rifle Carry block to 1st cone, perform 10 Block Merkins,

 

  1. Leave Block, Nurr back to start line and perform 5 Man-makers and 5 Big Boys (with Bell)!

 

  1. Run / Walk back to 1st cone complete 10 Block Merkins and 10 Overhead Presses

 

  1. Rifle Carry to second cone.

 

  1. Leave Block, Nurr back to start line and perform 5 Man-makers and 5 Big Boys (with Bell)!

 

  1. Run / Walk back to 2nd cone complete 10 Block Merkins, 10 Overhead Presses, 10 Tricep Extensions

 

  1. Rifle Carry to 3rd cone.

 

  1. Leave Block, Nurr back to start line and perform 5 Man-makers and 5 Big Boys (with Bell)!

 

  1. Run / Walk back to 3rd cone complete 10 Block Merkins, 10 Overhead Presses, 10 Tricep Extensions, 10 Thrusters

Thoughts for the Day

Respect to my parents and grandparents for instilling respect, a work ethic, drive and humility into my life.

In the last few years, I have learned to accept my lot in life.  Life hasn’t always been a bed of roses, but life is good and Im lucky for what I have.  Life is about making decisions, sometimes rushed, and sometimes deliberated.  However the outcome of your decision turns out, it doesn’t matter, because it was the decision you made with the information you had at that moment in time.

If the outcome is bad then accept it, learn from the adversity don’t dwell on it and move on.  If it turns out good, don’t boast, be humble and share in your rewards.

 

Exercise 2 – Play your Cards Right

 

Pax split into groups of four.

PAX guess Higher or Lower than the card to the left.  If you guess correct the rep count is 5.  If you guess wrong the rep count is 10.

Exercise is set by the suit that is turned over.

 

  • Diamonds – Bicep Curl with Overhead Press
  • Hearts – Thrusters
  • Clubs – Alpos
  • Spades – Block Swings

The last card in the row determines your groups or the next groups near term fate.  If you guess wrong, you will do MM’s until remaining PAXs complete small mosey.  If you guess correctly the next group in line will do the MM’s.
