Hill Nonsense

I seen this hill by Cannonball that we never use so I figured we would use it well today. I knew we wouldn’t break any Cuda rep count or mileage records but I was hoping we could take the elevation gain record today. The hill is about .72 miles from Cuda – it’s dark, it’s not very wide, the air is thick, and Crabbie said the cucumber smell could be attributed to nearby threatened copperheads.…

I was tapped to Q as the Fort’s Hardwood had a local buddy that he had been working on for some time and for some reason he thought I’d make the guy want to almost vomit enough that he’d come back a second time.  I’m not going to say it worked, but Sashimi (Aaron FNG) sounds like he’s game.  Lives in Paddler’s Cove along w/ about half the other Lake Wylie Pax. Blocks and Bells The Cannonball

So YHC comes in with the attitude that we need to do a little work this morning! So at 4:59 we had bells out and ready to roll. But at 5:00 am we had blocks too! Count me as impressed with the sense of urgency. So it was get with it time. Went like this: Warm – up SSH X 20 IW X 20 Cotton Pickers X 20 Grapevine stretches Mtn. Climbers X 20 Run…

Scuttle the ship at Black Flag!

I had the honor to Q the final workout at the original Black Flag AO at Good Samaritan Church. The site Q Shades and the SLT decided to move it going forward to the excellent Field Day Park in Paddler’s Cove, like The Brig AO.  I heard a few men might be running a little before the main event so I showed up 30 minutes early and was happy to see the running was already…

Party in the Parking Lot, Wolv’s 5 year F3 Anniversary

Party in the Parking Lot, Wolv’s 5 year F3 Anniversary Time flies when you are having fun and over the last 5 years I’ve has as much fun (by our own odd definition of fun) than most.  It was a pleasure to Q today, on the 5th anniversary of my first F3 post.  Here is how it went down:   Warm-o-Rama After a brief disclaimer, YHC led the group in short mosey to the back…

Cuda meets Walker

Aaaannnd we’re back for the second installment of “What you missed at Hog & Coyote” and Barracuda could not be a better venue. The AO laid out perfectly for an almost exact replica of a small section of the Hog & Coyote. A very brief disclaimer was provided since we did have an FNG present. YHC informed the PAX that we had just completed a pain station and our next stop would be the parking…

Black Flag meets Hog & Coyote

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Well that’s what the PAX at Black Flag got tonight. As one of only two representatives from F3 Lake Wylie (Big Mac) at the 8th edition of the Hog & Coyote down in Rock Hill, YHC thought that it was only proper that I share some of what I experienced at the event. It went down something like this… PAX assembled for a brief mosey around…

Mostly Not Lost at Undertow

We had 5 men out at Undertow including Clutch, Shredder, Austin Powers, Autotune, and myself, Captain Jack.  We started out with some brief warm-up activities. Next, we moseyed over to the pull up bars on the trail.  As a team we did 200 pull ups.  Every minute on the minute we took turns on the bar doing as many pull ups as we could to reach the cumulative 200.  Meanwhile the other pax did various…

Who has the most patriotic neighborhood? Prove it w/ burpees.

Calling on Lake Wylie, the Fort, Rock Hill, York and Gas House to see what you got.  Who lives in the most patriotic neighborhood across our regions!??  If you don’t live in a neighborhood, that’s ok too.  Grab a buddy, and hit his neighborhood, or scope out one w/ some patriotism. Super simple – mark a 5K route in your hood.  Run a 5K stopping at every sign of an American Flag, and do 5…
